Warranty Terms
Patara pieces are sold under a care warranty, each with its own jewellery certificate. This page sets out what the warranty covers and who should be trusted with your piece.

What it covers
Every piece sold on this site is under Patara's care warranty and is delivered with its own jewellery certificate.
We give the support your piece needs so that you can wear it for many years. If you have a question about its care, simply write to us.
Repairs and alterations
Nobody outside Patara should work on your piece. Resizing, repair, stone replacement and similar work belong in our own atelier.
Work done elsewhere can change the structure of a piece and what we are able to do with it afterwards; where that has happened we may not be able to give the support this warranty covers.
Care
When you are not wearing it, keep your piece in its own box, away from damp and direct sunlight. Avoid contact with perfume, creams and cleaning products.
Defective goods and your statutory rights
This warranty is given in addition to your rights under Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection; it does not replace them. Where goods are defective, the remedies that law gives you remain available.
Because the pieces are worked by hand, the carat and gram weight of a piece may vary by around 10 per cent, and the gold weight of a ring may change because it is adjusted to the size you give. These differences are not defects.
The warranty period, what falls outside it (impact, ordinary wear, a lost stone and so on), which repairs are free and which are charged, and how a warranty claim is handled do not appear in the company's warranty document. They belong in this section once they are settled.
