Returns and Cancellations

How to exercise your right of withdrawal, the difference between a cancellation and a refund, and when your money comes back.

01

Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from the contract within fourteen days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason and without penalty. This is your statutory right under Turkish Law No. 6502.

A written notice through any of the channels on the Contact page is enough. There is no separate form to fill in — your order number and the piece you wish to return are all we need.

Notice and return address
Send your notice to [email protected] or call 0530 305 53 07. The piece goes back within ten days of that notice, and in any event within fourteen days of delivery, to: Patara Antalya Mücevherat Tasarım Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, Göksu Mah. Farabi Cad. No: 12AA, Kepez / Antalya, Türkiye.
Cost of return shipping
If you send it with our contracted courier, LOOMİS Özel Kargo ve Güvenlik, no shipping charge is asked of you and the parcel travels insured. With any other courier, the return shipping cost and any damage in transit are yours.
Condition the piece is accepted in
Complete and undamaged, with its original box, packaging, any standard accessories and anything gifted with it. Its certificate, the delivery note, any insurance forms and the original invoice must be included, with the return section of the invoice completed and signed. You are not liable for changes that come from examining the piece in the ordinary way during the withdrawal period.

When the right of withdrawal does not apply

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for the following, and only where the piece was identified as such before the order was placed.

  • Pieces made to order for one person: items engraved with a name or text, full-eternity bands, wedding bands made to a measured size, nose jewellery, fingerprint pieces and the like.
  • Pieces made personal by alteration or addition: a ring size other than those selectable in the catalogue, a change of bracelet size, engraving, production with a different stone.
  • Campaign items and items in the outlet category.
  • Pieces used other than in the ordinary way.

The size and colour options selectable on the product pages are not bespoke production; your right of withdrawal is unaffected when you order with them. The exception covers special orders placed through customer services for a size or a piece of work the catalogue does not offer.

Cancellation versus refund

Both return your money in full; the difference is how the bank records the transaction, and that determines when the amount reaches your account.

Cancellation — same day
Done on the day of payment, before the bank closes its batch, the transaction is erased as though it never happened. It often never appears on your statement at all; the held amount is usually released within one to three working days, depending on your bank.
Refund — later
After the batch closes, the amount goes back to your card as a separate refund transaction. Your statement shows both the charge and the refund. How long your bank then takes to credit the account depends on the card issuer and is typically a few working days.
Partial refund
If you return one piece from an order containing several, that piece's amount is refunded and the rest of the order stands.

Where the money goes back to

A refund always goes to the account behind the card used for the payment. It cannot be sent to a different card, a different account or paid in cash — that is a card scheme rule, not a preference.

The refund is initiated within fourteen days of your withdrawal notice reaching us. How long the bank then takes to show it on your account falls outside that period and outside the seller's control.

Refunds are made in Turkish lira — the currency the payment was taken in — and for the amount charged. Exchange rate movements in the meantime do not change the amount refunded.

05

Defective goods

The right of withdrawal is separate from, and does not replace, your rights where a piece is defective. For a defective piece, Article 11 of Law No. 6502 lets you choose between rescinding the contract, a reduction in price, free repair, or replacement with a piece free of the defect.

Variation in the colour and pattern of natural stones from one piece to another, and the small differences that come from hand-making, are not defects; they follow from the method of making.

If we cannot agree

If your request is not met, you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee at your place of residence within the monetary thresholds published annually by the Ministry of Trade, and to the Consumer Court above them.
